Improving Your 1099 Processing, Reporting and Compliance

Learn the basics of Form 1099 reporting, how to read a Form W-9 from your vendor, what red flags to look for, which payees are exempt, and which payments are subject to reporting. Also, find out how to verify TINs using the IRS's TIN matching system; how to negotiate the "principal" registrant requirement;and how to file with the IRS.
